I am so grateful to be part of the svs community for the last couple years. This creative life would have been so much harder without all of us being here for each other.Thank you @Lee-White @Will-Terry @Jake-Parker and @davidhohn for being wonderful teachers and mentors. Thank you so much for @LisaF and everyone behind the scene who made the svs community possible.
I have been through a difficult patch during the last couple of weeks. Receiving this award at this moment feels very surreal. I am very grateful for it.
As I started getting work from the book publishing industry since I signed with my agent last summer. I thought things would be a little easier once you get in the door, it does not. It is just the challenges I am dealing with are different. Maybe growing the artist career is like raise a child - it never gets easier. But I will always remember what @Will-Terry said that life is hard no matter what you choose to do, you might just as well choose to do something you love. I try to follow his advice as truthfully as I can - choose what I love to do.

Congratulations Xin Li! It was so great to watch you win last night. Your portfolio is beautiful and really inspired me. When I went through the showcase it really stood out.
I hope you got enough sleep. I didn't get to bed till 2am due to English time zone and after the day I just felt really awake!
Its lovely to see that the SVS courses and competitions really help people level up and move forward.
