Time to Move On
-
My year at SVS has come to an end, and I have decided it’s time to move on. This forum has been so supportive and such a great experience, so I just wanted to make one final post to say thank you to everyone for all of the advice, feedback and support. You guys have been amazing, and it has been really great meeting all of you. I will still be posting my work on Instagram, and following many of your artistic journeys as well! Big thanks to @Braden-Hallett @Aleksey @Chip-Valecek @BichonBistro @chrisaakins @Heather-Boyd for your part in making the forum a great experience!

@Erin-Cortese But... But you don't need to leave. One does not need an SVS subscription to lurk around the forums
-
@Erin-Cortese I second what @Braden-Hallett said. You don't need to leave the forums to take part.
-
Aww Thanks @Erin-Cortese I third the sentiment of @Braden-Hallett. I was a forum follower before I was a student. It is a good place to hang out with like-minded artists.
-
I understand your feelings @Erin-Cortese I hope you keep lurking around and poking your head into the forum now and again. But also hope you all the best in your next steps in life. You wouldn’t be making this post unless you felt like you need to move forward with some sort of change (i think, im not good at people-ology). We’ll be around, if not on here then on the instagrmas!
-
If you don’t mind my asking, what are your plans? I hope you still plan to art
-
Best wishes, see you in social media!

@Braden-Hallett @Chip-Valecek @Aleksey @burvantill Thanks everyone! Initially I was thinking the same thing about not having to leave the forum, but I have started with another school (that also has a student collaboration tool) and I felt like this forum was specifically for SVS students. So yes I am still doing art, I have just changed direction a little. I feel like this next step is the right one for me, and that it would be best to jump in with both feet rather than keeping one foot here in the SVS forum...@Aleksey you are better at people-logy than you thought :), but maybe I can still poke my head in once in awhile like you suggested.
When I started here last year I thought I might be crazy for trying to pursue illustration, I had quite a bit of doubt to work through and really felt out of my element. This forum helped change that feeling and I would never give up that experience. Very thankful

@Erin-Cortese hi! It’ll be sad to think that you’ll be leaving us but I guess all things has its end. We’ll support you either way. Best Wishes on your new endeavors.

Thank you, you have contributed to my own journey as you have to many here. Will be missed here but will see you on Instagram. And if you ever svslearn again I know you will be warmly welcomed home here.

@Erin-Cortese You helped me so much here and I am going to miss you. You will do well in whatever path you choose, I am certain. Thank you for everything!
