Time is flying...trying to get into the rabbit road race mindset with a few sketches.

Hello gang! It sure has been a while!
This is Edward and Ron characters that I created for a past svs critique arena
Just wanted to share how far they ve come designwise these past months, as I work them and their story out!
I have already started writing and thumbnailing their book, but this is for another thread!! -
My first of 12 new portfolio pieces Iām making before my portfolio review on October 1st!
-
-
Short comic about kids fighting over the swingset. Lots of vicious Shakespearian insults flung back and forth. Gonna be fun!
-
Starting a series of posters featuring various historic landmarks in my hometown, then seeing what I end up doing with them when I have a few. This is my first!
-
@patricialamas gorgeous vintage vibe!
-
@patricialamas Very nice. I love the colors.
-
Got my second four done for my 2023 calendar. And I figured out a name for it--"The Very Long Walk to Grandmother's House". Almost done!
-
@Jeremiahbrown You've got some really nice professionalism in your work!
-
@Coreyartus That's a fun title! And I think at least one of my favorites out of this group is the first one (upper left). Thanks for sharing with us!
-
@patricialamas I like how you decided to use a simplified palette. Inspiring! Maybe you could make these into postcards for your hometown!
-
Hope this brings a smile to your face.
-
@patricialamas Very nice! I love limited color palettes.
-
@MelissaJacie Thanks so much!

Last 4 months are completed for my 2023 self-published calendar, "The Very Long Walk to Grandmother's House". Now all I have to do is a cover, inside copy, test printing, assemble some mockups, and it's good to go. I was worried I wouldn't have this done when school started, but I think I'm going to make it! Whew!
