I'm about to participate in my first ever portfolio showcase! I was thinking of using these three images. The Narnia one looks a little dark, but it is, after all, a fire-lit scene.

There are some other ones, however, on my brand new website (woohoo, and thanks @Geoffrey-Gordon!). Can some of you give me your input, please? Does my selection look appropriate? Thank you!

I think these are great! I also like the girl with the bike and the old man with the reflection in the pond; however, I am not sure that I would choose them over the ones you already chose. I like your style.

Thanks! @Kim-Rosenlof I am fond of the pond one too, but I wonder if it's children's bookish enough.

Doing this showcase (and the contests) is a valuable experience. You know how sometimes you get a glance at yourself at some odd angle in the mirror at a party, and for a split second you think you are someone else? Seeing your own work next to others' in a showcase is kind of like that. Looking at your work next to others' gives you objective feedback all by itself.

Your selections are great. The kid in front of the case store caught my attention. I love how you show his face glued on the glass window :-).

@xin-li Haha! Thanks! That was something I saw in real life. His mom was horrified! 😂
