Just wanted to share I am now represented by Renae Moore at The Tobias Literary Agency! Looking forward to middle grade illustration and graphic novel opportunities.

Thanks SVS for offering excellent classes to build my skills, and having such a supportive forum. It took about 3 years of to get here. I will keep growing and checking in!

@arielg I heard about a #KidLitGN hashtag event on Twitter, where unagented artists can pitch a graphic novel idea, and if an agents likes your post, that's an invitation to send them the full pitch. I spent 6 weeks making sample pages and writing out the story summary (I've been thinking about this idea for a lot longer though).

I pitched during the event, got a handful of interested agents, aand picked my favorite to query. I wasn't expecting a reply, since this was my first time querying an agent, so this was a very cool surprise!
