So many great pieces! Here is mine, I almost forgot today is the last day of November.
Gary enjoys looking for different bugs.
@peteolczyk I love this Pete!! So good.
@xin-li it’s beautiful!!
@karammitchell Great bison! I’m from Oklahoma too! Where are you from? I’m in Woodward.
@alicia thank you so much! I'm in deer creek/Edmond area but I'm originally from big Newkirk!!
I am a painter attempting to make the transition to illustration, and I know I have a long way to go to do this more effectively. But since I was asked in early November to respond to Isaiah 11, 1-10 for an Advent program in December, I chose to illustrate it somewhat narratively, using the Slowvember process and having this challenge as my goal!
@Chip-Valecek haha i almost forgot too because im bad with dates and thought I had 1 more day.
@Aleksey yesterday I was thinking the same thing... until my wife informed me I better get a move on!
@theprairiefox we did it
@Aleksey I am done, but I got to let it dry enough to scan... almost there.
@theprairiefox it's ok it's still 10 in Arizona.
@Aleksey It's 9pm where I am. So I have 2 hours?
@CLCanadyArts quite honestly I have NO idea. Time is relative?
@Chip-Valecek Entries must be posted by 11/30 at the stroke of midnight ️ No time zone specified. Which Time zone does this apply to? Gmt - 7? . I'm pst, so it's 9:19pm right now, but 10:19pm gmt.. I don't want to miss out over time zone issue. Thanks!
My first attempt at an SVS contest! I went back to a previous piece I spent a month on in October and reworked it a bit to meet this deadline. I may continue with my initial project from November at a later time but right now i'm trying to finish some full color spreads from this story I wrote so I can send out my dummy book! Everyone's work looks great! I loved seeing everyones progress. Wish I had photos to share of my thumbnails and character design from this spread but they are all packed away. I think the most beneficial part of #slowvember for me was @Lee-White Questionnaire, it asked some really thought provoking questions that really helped me understand how I want to move forward as an artist.
