@Heather-Boyd it's weird because it seems like so much effort for such a simple end result that at first I was thinking "why wouldn't you just create the design digitally and then print it" but having done it there is something very particular about the texture and thickness of the ink layers you would never get in a print.
I squeezed in a submission for the SCBWI Draw This prompt (decided to start on it 48 hours before submissions closed 
). Then took some time today to turn it into a mock cover.
Playing with final assignment props course. Should have kept things more simple and less extreme angle. Can’t figure out the table leg, even with a grid in place. Will know for next time!

Got some time today to work. I am going to go back and revisit some Inktober pieces and color them. Here is one of my original faves now with color:

What can I say? I find the misery of others inspiring 
trying out new techniques and new brushes, I bought the GRUT brushes and so far I really like them.
