Iāll be doing all my drawings this year with these two cat characters, they leave magical metallic paw prints wherever they go and are always up to mischief!

Had a fun time messing around with traditional Japanese comic screentones (the ones you have to cut by hand with a box cutter/x-acto knife and stick on). I haven't used them since 2007 or so, when I had to drive an hour out to Beaverton, OR to Kinokuniya to buy a sheet for about $5!

the plan is only to do a handful of prompts but I got caught up in the excitement and did one for yesterday (day 2 - mindless - posted a day late). Happy that I pulled off a little character with not a whole pile of planning and work lol!!!!

It's amazing what kind of animal you can engineer from mostly dog DNA. You can never get it to stop wagging its 'tail' though...
