-
@shinjifujioka you got it! I will probably be posting something on one of my social medias from time to time
-
@nyrrylcadiz they apparently do these every year and itβs only a month. SVA is hecka expensive. FIT is a lot cheaper and I might go there depending on what happens at SVA.
-
@Aleksey wow! That sounds amazing!
-
Congratulations!!!!! Let us know all about what it's like when you're there and have fun!
-
Congrats!
-
@Aleksey Congrats!
-
@Aleksey congrats!!! It has been great to see your creative process and the results!
-
@Aleksey There should be a place to find the answers to your questions or at least a person to talk with -do they have a web page and a section on their Residencies?
-
@Heather-Boyd yes I contacted them already. What I have gathered is there will be frequent portfolio reviews, working on our individual projects within the studio spaces, sequential art classes, various illustration industry workshops, visits to the society of illustrators, and a open viewing at the end I believe. Theres also a lunch with 3x3 magazine and Meets with art directors. Im trying to figure out what I should make my individual project that can be accomplished in a month.
-
Congratulations, fantastic news!
-
@Aleksey
Is this residency the only thing your focusing on for the month? Is it also where you go to a location or at home? -ah you said separate studio space -on campus I'd assume. So more on are you living there or just working on your project there?
-
@Heather-Boyd yeah other than part time job, itβs an on site location and itβs only working in the space not living on campus
-
What a great opportunity. You deserve it! I hope you are able to post occasionally about your experience because it will be fun to hear what it involves and what you are learning.
