Redraw after YouTube Critique
-
I am thankful for the critique of my Thankful piece done a couple years ago. Here is my redo after @Lee-White and @Jake-Parker and @Will-Terry had their say. I really appreciate the feedback.

Looks great @chrisaakins! Can you please share the original version for comparison?
-
@chrisaakins Cool! I love how you took their advice and posted your redraw so quickly too. Love your work so much

@Jeremy-Ross here you go:
-
@ArtistErin aww thanks, Erin! You are so kind.
-
Love it @chrisaakins, great improvement and better eye flow!
-
@chrisaakins This looks great!
-
Nice edit Chris! So much better!
-
@chrisaakins Kinda cool how we as storytellers and artists can look at our final piece and think, "ya, I'm happy with that " and then when others see things we don't and make suggestions it's like dang, that looks so much better!. As much I thought the original was great I really think this helps tell the story...assuming it was about this mouse family joining the party! Nice!
-
@chrisaakins Everything about this is so beautiful! Wish I was there ... Tiny query: I wonder whether the mouse carrying the basket should be rotated slightly more towards the main gathering where she is heading, since she is no longer greeting the two squirrels?
-
@JeanW letβs just consider it one of those stage type placement thingies where she didnβt want to turn away from the audience.
-
@JeanW Fair enough, her time to shine!

@Larue yeah for sure... amazing how we help each other, I'll say blind spots are seriously that, I'll speak for myself. I am leaning on crits for this reason
