Seeing if I can still go for the yeti challenge haha. Experimenting with my art style. Inspiration is @misspowell

@burvantill Looks so beautiful! For the next one, I certainly entertain the idea of another cute animal following them from behind as they are leaving the decorated tree!
@Coreyartus this is beautiful!As for me I am doing Children's book page dummies,like this one!
-
@donnamakesart I love him -being tall and slender myself .

Working on my advent book. Experimenting with a line less style (my daughter hates heavily lined art) Here are the shepherds WIP.
The unfinished one on the left looks like Sasquatch. Hehe. -
Stormtrooper -

As a step towards getting better at backgrounds, and to get a bunch of drawing practice in, I've decided to take a Slowvember approach to Draw 50 things. My plan is to choose a setting (my first one is 'garden'), make a list of 50 things that would go in that scene, and then take time to not just pop the item in a scene, but to really learn how to draw it and what makes it tick and then make it a character (which is kind of the test for whether or not I figured out how to draw the thing. It makes me really mindful of what makes up the 'thing' and it also makes me think about character gesture and viewpoints). At some point I'll stick them all together for a scene. Here are a few examples:

Merry Christmas everyone!

Testing out some arty holiday gifts from family My daughter got me a leather bound refillable sketchbook with tan paper and my mom got me some nice Copic doodle sets.

Hi everyone! Long time without coming around here. I wanted to share my latest piece for 2020, it is a continuation for an earlier commission I did on March, a darker one in tone that contrasts very well with part 2.
Hope you all like it! -
@kylebeaudette he's sooooo cool.

I recently watched a Marco Bucci video where he started by putting shapes, textures, and colors on the canvas randomly not knowing what he intends to create only to "find his image" by the time it's over. Of course it's amazing when it is completed! I gave the process a shot a few days ago and here is my result. -
-
@burvantill thanks mate!!
-
A few years ago I made a 24 hour comic called 'the war of the hamster'. Decided to revisit it. Basically a bunch of kids on the playground playing game of thrones and yelling shakespearian insults
-
@Braden-Hallett The movement in that second panel is so fun! There's no mistaking that bike and bus as stationary vehicles.

I've spent december switching from corel painter to clip studio. I am SO much happier with clip studio. It took a bit to get used to the brush engine, but really, it's a much much better program.

@jdubz I really love the energy in the little girl and the family as a whole but the snail like swirls in the clouds pull my attention away. The picket fence showing through the car looks a little like teeth. Maybe tint or blur the windows a tiny bit to make it fade into the background more? But overall very nice.
