Inktober 2020 - Week 2
-
I got a late start for Inktober. Mainly because I wasn't sure I would have enough time to do it. I still don't know if I'll do the full 31 days (if I do I'll be finishing it sometime in November for sure). However, I wanted to participate at least to some degree
So I've done 2 drawings so far (out of order of the prompts, haha). Both are done with Tombow brushpen on paper. I've been working on a series of funky frog drawings; so I decided to carry that theme to my inktober drawings.
Day 5: Blade

I do like checking off the days and seeing what I like and what many improvements I need, including a need for different paper and different pens and the hope to try some brushes with ink as I move through this.
Today's Day 7-Fancy is: The old woman put on the Fancy dress and felt transported back to a time when she was young and life was filled with romance and possibilities.

Day Seven -Fancy
I ran low on ideas and time with this one. I was listening to Episode 3 of the Three Point Perspective podcast, which was titled "Ship Happens" and decided to use that as the subject of my drawing.
I like some elements, like how the smokestacks double as masts, but I wish I had taken the time to further the design of the ship, rather than render it .
