@Lee-White and I thought somebody was cribbing your font! itβs one of my favorites for the unique take and vintage feel in the execution (except for the Woof font )
I am AB

@Lee-White Lol, good one. :face_with_stuck-out_tongue_closed_eyes: Whew! Just imagine the heckling you'd get from them if you didn't make that first cut.
-
@TessaW I was nervous!!
-
@Lee-White I can't sign in to the arena is there a delay?
-
@Lee-White ignore that I'm a day out lol
-
You sneaky snook!
-
That is fantastic! I feel the varied weight in your inky lines plus the font coupled with a clever concept should have given you away to the boys! I can't not see your style, lol! AB rocks!

sneaky...sneaky! LOL, great image, and I'm glad you had a chance for a bit of fun!
-
@Lee-White HAHA! I honestly found this concept unique. Nice one. Lol
-
Damn the signs are all there!! I knew this was illustrated by a professional right away. Great work AB!
-
Omg that is the best!
-
Concept is king eh? Sneaky, very sneaky.
-
That image made stop scrolling on the contest thread for a bit. I think I wrote a message to AB that I really loved the concept. But I did not suspect it was you at all. I also thought Lee would like this piece.
-
!
I just thought, "Someone has a well-developed style and a really original concept!" It made me pause. But admittedly, since I didn't enter, I was scrolling rather fast just to keep current with what was going on, and so I didn't consciously think, "It's Lee's style!" Thanks for putting it in there and shaking us up!
-
@Lee-White you sneak.
I didn't recognize it as yours, partly because I don't expect people to be so sneaky lol, but it was outstanding for sure.
Fun times!

@Lee-White I had caught that it was you. I actually catch it because you posted as AB I read the posts, then you deleted them and I knew it was you.
I was wondering if you would make the top 16 (after seeing it I didn't really have a doubt.) I love the printmaking feel you got with the piece.
I eventually have to figure out how to get that feeling digitally. But I am still working on getting the feeling I want traditionally... then I will hopefully be able to transfer it to digital. Your video on textures I think will be a good first step for me.
I wasn't able to get my entry in traditionally and it just isn't as effective digitally.
Let me know what you think about the difference between the two...
-
@theprairiefox I was wondering if anyone caught that slip! I had posted a comment as AB, but I was logged in on my Lee account! I caught it quick, but not quick enough! haha!

When I first saw this, I thought, "I love the concept but why is he trying to be a Lee White clone?!" LOL! I'm glad it was you. Bravo!
