In under the wire! Thank you to everyone who shared such helpful advice while I was working on this, and even if I didn't follow all the excellent advice, I'm thankful for it. You all are so inspiring.

Hello everyone I’m new to svs so It’s my first contest here and anywhere so I’m a tad nervous. I haven’t drawn anything like this for a very very long time and this prompt Is way out of my comfort zone which was really nerve racking but satisfying to push trough. I’m learning a lot more in the short month I’ve been on svs then I ever did in art school! Although I’m not sure if this is a spot illustration or a vignette it’s really confusing to know the difference .......... I hope it’s considered a spot ! I’m Irish by the way , just nice to know the nationalities ️

@Kevin-Longueil Your take on this prompt is so perfect! I really love your style and your way of using colored lines. Wonderful!
-
@Gaelle-Grizzly Thank you! I like yours too! i'm a bit lost with color... i had the words "Purple,Orange, Green" written at the top of my canvas to help me stay in my tertiary color scheme!

@ruth Awesome

@carolinebautista This is really a fun piece! That is cool that you used colored pencil shavings! Way to be innovative!

If I am too late oh well. I would like to dedicate this illustration to my wife who won’t let me give up on my dreams and keeps pushing me forward.
Good luck everyone.
