I'm unsure why but if we did that I would probably feel terrible

@Braden-Hallett your portfolio must be overloaded -and then you'd have to narrow it down like in the critiques 100 to 16.

More old webcomic doodles. For a long time I've tried to stay away from multiply layers (they always looked wrong) But I think I've developed my colour and value sense to the point where I can use them again.

Really neat! What kind of lizard is that on your stand? The armament on the tail is impressive!
The eye on your croc is amazing -
@SunnySommerset he's a spiny tailed monitor lizard. He was lovely and kept wandering over to see what we were doing we also drew a python called Colin.
I wrote up the day in a blog post if you want to see more photos / drawings:

Iโm working on one of the vehicle design assignments where you have to draw four vehicles for a cartoon character, and I decided to use my all-time favorite cartoon character, Wile E. Coyote. But then I couldnโt draw the vehicles without having drawn him first. Itโs been along time since Iโve drawn anything just for fun that didnโt work for my goal of being a childrenโs book illustrator, it was nice.

happy with it and will do another next month. Iโd do the far glowing trees a bit differently next time but still love the colours. I will post the reference tomorrow. Somewhere in Canada?

@Coley I love this style!

@Braden-Hallett I just love you're little thumbnail paintings!

This came out of my Apple Pencil yesterday.
It has been one hell of a week. Lemme tell ya. On SO MANY levels. Life has turned upside down, and riding the wave is an exercise in adaptability--which I'm privileged to be able to do as so many others in the circle of my life and profession are not so lucky. When it rains it pours.

I drew my wife calling me from a different grocery store telling me how crazy it was there -
