Our SVS Virtual Studio π SEPTEMBER 2019

@Julia yes it was from his channel! It was a good refresher - also was trying out some new brushes and paints so was good learning for that. Thought the idea of using colouring book pages to practice just painting was a good one.
-
@Kat what brushes are they? If you don't mind saying. =)x

@burvantill I bought a brush pack thru Design Cuts. Thereβs a bunch of different texture brushes to play with - watercolor, china ink, dry mediums... I also got some free watercolor brushes thru WollyPronto, found her on YouTube.
Now I need to get better at using them!
-
@Kat thank you
I found a couple yesterday for free. Iβm hesitant to buy a pack yet because Iβm not good at digital painting yet, I need practice too. I will check out the Wolly person. -

@TwiggyT The strawberry details are such a great touch!

@TessaW Thank you!
@Heather-Boyd I really like that style you're working in. The pinecone and leaf remind me a little of a woodcut.
My next image is Clover the Guinea Pig. She's a busy witch, but she wonders why bees follow her everywhere.

Started my free trial yesterday, although I've been wanting to join SVS for a while. Hoping I won't have to cancel my subscription, lol. Anyway, I started with the crosshatching class and then I started @Jake-Parker 's how to draw everything class. I'm hoping to improve my art skills, especially working with light, shadow, and composition.
Skullchaser in pink... I find that hilarious. :smiling_face_with_open_mouth_closed_eyes:

Welcome

I found a wood texture paper on Corel Essential, it reminds me of my woodcut print days. I plan to use it again for tomorrowβs Inktober Day 3 - BAIT.
Thanks
