JULY CONTEST: WHEN SUMMER VACATION GOES WRONG.
-
@chrisaakins Thank you! Also, thanks for the feedback during the WIP stage! I incorporated some of the suggestions.
-
@Alicja-W I like what you ended up doing with the rain, it turned out great!
-
@Tom-Shannon As soon as I saw this I thought I knew it was a Tom Shannon piece lovely picture
-
I decided to take the plunge and enter for the first time this month. I'm very intimidated by all the great artwork, and love all the different takes on the prompt. Here's my take, "Street vendors". Special thanks to @Shannon-Biondi and @Susan-Marks for their input.
-
Decided to submit for this month as well, even though I don't like how it turned out. Anyway, I think having your camping gear sprayed by a skunk would certainly ruin a vacation!
-
My submission for the July 2019 contest. (This was partly inspired by a “bad design” image I ran across a while back. Here’s a link if you’re interested: http://bit.ly/design-mixup)

@Gary-Wilkinson Thanks Gary for the kind words! I love you entry as well. As always, big fan of your work.
-
"Mr. Croc Likes Watermelon Too"
I still want to work on this piece more, but I figured I would go ahead and get it posted before the deadline. -
-
OK, here's mine. Had some weird thinking going on, I guess.
-
@Braden-Hallett You have expressed that boy’s complete disappointment perfectly.
-
I pictured the family pets having their own ideas.
-
The struggle was real this month (artistically speaking).
-
@Maureen hahaha! very dark humor! I love it! The bucket of apple peelings in the doorway are a nice touch
-
@Aleksey This is amazingly drawn with a killer concept, as usual. I'm a fan.
-
Hi, here my try on this month prompt with a very rainy vacation..

Hi, @lou Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
