Love WIP take 2

Hi everyone, I got really inspired by the draw 50 things class and decided to do something different for the Love prompt. Decided to go a completely different way with this.
Wrote a little rhyme
“Bubble bubble toil and trouble,
Heartache burn and and lovers squabble.
Fungal stems and dragon eyes,
Find the lovers, hear their cries.
Even quicker than it started,
May the strongest bonds be parted”
Which is gonna go in the top left corner. I probably won’t be able to do 50 things but I’m sure as heck gonna try.
The right side is gonna show the witch brewing a potion in her cauldron under the he chimney and the fumes are going to rise and form a broken heart. A cat will be swiping at it. Those are some items I’m drawing just as I brainstormed and found some reference images.Feedback welcome.

@Aleksey That is an intriguing idea to go opposite! I really like the line on the bird in the too small cage. One question I have about the thumbnail is the dark curved line extending from the witch over the pot. My first thought was that is a handle to the cauldron, and there is a tangent problem, the next was that it is her arm extending over the pot and then tossing something in, but the line goes past the pot... what was your plan for that spot?

@juliepeelart That's the opening in the chimney. The big cylinder with the broom leaning on it is a big stone/brick chimney. The big curve line is a placeholder for the firebox/mantle of the chimney. Everything will be clearer in the next sketch I make.

@Aleksey Sounds like a great idea. I'd suggest allowing the viewer to see inside the pot that's stirring. Then you could have some of the 50 things as floating ingredients in the potion.

If I might; for the meter on the last two lines, would you consider:
"Even quicker than it starts,
May strongest bonds be pulled apart”
just a suggestion
I love the witch character. It's like she's pulled out of out fairy tales...or mayby from some Terry Pratchett novel
