Drawin' 100 somethings. Again.

These are really great! Love your shape language and the linework. I was toying with the idea of doing 100 animals too, but ah...time.
BTW, do you know Chris Ayers´ books “The Daily Zoo”? He drew an animal a day for a year when he was in remission from leukemia and it was so successful (and so therapeutic) that he went on to do it for further three or four years. -
Thank you!
I'm finding less and less time myself. So many things to work on, so little time.
I have not looked at Chris Ayers' books, but I absolutely will! Thanks for suggesting. My library of artists is surprisingly small and I'm working to expand it.

Wow, I love these. Your style is so refined and unique. Love it, love it, love it!

Finished Mr. Toad.
-
I love these! The shapes and light. And the toad's eyes. And that hapless little bug--please tell me his parents saved him!
I look forward to seeing more of these!
-
@art-of-b lovely piece, but i'm feeling sorry for all those ants
-
Really been enjoying seeing your process. Love the energy and movement!
-
I really love your style and totally wish I could render like you do. Did I read that you use Corel Painter instead of Photoshop? I had the "lite" version of Painter years ago but when that laptop crashed I couldn't figure out how to transfer it to the new. I wasn't very good with it at the time but I remember thinking it was cool.
-
Thanks
I do use Painter, but if I could go back in time I'd try and convince myself to learn photoshop instead.
A lot of the time I've spent learning painter has been trying to replicate things that photoshop can do XD.

Day 25. Armed Marmoset.
-
These are looking great! Really dig the style and movement you're conveying.
-
The prompt was 'jackal' so I had to seize the opportunity to draw a dnd monster XD
-
@art-of-b I totally agree with what @smceccarelli said. Great shape language throughout all of your pieces. And really cool to see the process you take to color something! Keep up the good work; it's making me want to try the Draw 100 Somethings.

A horse is a horse, so I'm counting it!

Day 30 - Grizzly.
I imagine his name is Kolbee.

Day 35 - Donkey.
-
You are a powerhouse! You are blowing me away with all the work you're getting done.
-
Thanks! I've found a sudden surplus of time lately, so more drawing!
-
