FEBRUARY CONTEST

@heathertbl I absolutely love your story here!

So many great illustrations this month. This was a truly fun challenge. Thanks again to all who helped me decide on which image to use. I chose the one that I liked best in the end though. I think of my time as a young kid and having my grandfather bring home a little live octopus one year for supper. It squirmed and wiggled and tried to get out of his bucket. I never ate it but they did (the adults). Anyway, drew this little guy trying to escape a dinner party... Hope you like it!

@bdyanne I think we all feel discouraged at times. It's part of the growing process This is a cute idea. I remember walking in the rain and looking down at th epuddles and feeling liek I was looking into another world That's what this makes me think of.

@late2theparty Very nice. I like the sparkle on the ring, the gloss of the pearl bracelet, the reflection in the glass, the expression of the little guys ... so many details.

@artwithashley Nice vertical take on the subject. Love the bubbles, including the popped ones. Is this done in watercolor and digital?
