Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement! I'm in the hard part of book submission right now: waiting. I got a couple of very nice passes last week, which is better than no word at all. I think we still have 6 more editors to hear from, I'll keep you guys posted.

Really beautiful work. I love the concept in the first image and the use of color in the second is really nice. Is the texture just an overlay with photo of some watercolor paper?
