@Leontine-Gaasenbeek What a wonderful piece! I love everything about it!!
-
@Thrace-Shirley-Mears Thank you Thrace!
-
@Leontine-Gaasenbeek This is so great - you are a rockstar at rendering! Love your colour palette and 'mood' of this piece.
I feel like your snail is more a slug though - where's his shell? You just barely have a tangent with the end of his tongue and leash too.
-
Great illustration, you did a really good job... one thing is bothering me though... instead of walking the snail/slug, she is posing for a photo. She is even showing off her ring

Really well done, great colors
-
It looks amazing. I really love the color. The characters are adorable. Well done!
-
@Jiří-Kůs Thats because at first it was a Characterdesign.
-
@DanetteDraws Your right, it is a slug.
-
I love your drawing and painting style. Great use of what looks to be a white wash over the distant trees, to give it that hazy depth of field look. Great work!
-
@Leontine-Gaasenbeek I absolutely love the colours. The characters as gorgeous. I can see them having some great adventures. Awesome piece.
-
@Peter-Jarvis thanks a lot!
-
@Craig-Babin thank you so much!
-
@Naroth-Cow thank you very much!
-
@Steve-Young thanks Steve!

Looking good. I would probably bump up the contrast a bit. I feel like the highlights can be pushed a bit more.

Beautiful piece! Very nice compostiion and really lovely attention to the details.
In my story telling video that's coming out in Sept, one of the key things I talk about is really thinking about how you want your audience to feel when you do a piece. Then catering to that feeling with your arsenal of tools and tricks to hit that feeling. This, to me, is a very magical piece. Your style is right on the money and as I mentioned before, your details are really nice. I think the only thing that could be used to improve it is the color and contrast. You need to up the "magic" and to me that means going with a warm/cool relationship. This will bring our foreground forward and push the trees in the background back some.
I did a quick paint over to show an example. Feel free to interpret as needed to make it work for you. : )
