CBP Live Class?

@Lee-White @LisaF (not sure who to tag)
In today's podcast they mentioned that they will be taking 5 students live through the course each, did you already select those students? I've been waiting for there to be a live version to go through it fully (I paid when it first came out). I don't want to miss the opportunity -
@carlianne Same here! I have asked on the board more than once, but never heard a reply.

Following. I wonder how the live part would work (I am assuming there will be more than 15 students in the online class). I would imagine if they take on live students it would be students who would best benefit the experience/time given since live would seem more mentorship-like. So would that be juried on portfolio or class pieces (sorry, too much time spent with fine artists)? Or lottery - like there's 5 golden tickets for the SVS Learn factory?

Same here! I was in the first round of CBP, but am super interested in the mentored/live option.

@kerisa-greene we haven't launched it yet. You guys have first dibs. We are figuring out the format still. We are thinking it would be more like a "picture book dummy workshop" kind of thing. It will have very specific techniques for evaluating your dummy along with crits and drawovers.

@lee-white Thank you for replying! Will it be a BYOD? (Workshopped, of course.) Or will there be manuscripts like in the main course?
If I know when it's going to be in advance, I will be sure to hold open a space for it. I have already done a lot of my dummy and submitted it for critiques while waiting, but it won't hurt to have it critiqued again, for sure!

@lauraa you can bring any dummy you like. We will only be giving feedback to how the illustrations relate to your text, not changing the story at all. So you have to be sure of your story!
