Similar to a groundhog, I almost slept through February and missed making a new thread for this month.

Just imagine you are walking through a studio, silently looking over people’s shoulders at their work.

@oana The pool requires a kid to distract the sharks during free swim. Jay drew the short straw.

@oana obviously you were not a child of the seventies in which any body of water could contain sharks thanks to the movie JAWS.

@chrisaakins I totally relate!!! My Aunt and Uncle took me to the beach once and I refused to go in because of sharks (still have problems with it). Even going in a pool was hard as a kid.

@chrisaakins haha actually I am from the seventies! Only I was on a different part of the world, no ocean, no sharks and not so many movies at that time! Still, the image is relatable Love all the kids expressions

I teach tech lab (1:1 iPads at my school) and this week the students needed a break, so I gave them some free time to explore our district’s educational apps. Which meant I needed something to do myself. I started working on a series of frogs while I sat with them, and this one made my K-2 kids go “EWWWW” so I guess that’s… good?

Now I just need to figure out how to draw ground coverage. I tried a bunch of leaves since this is a Costa Rican poison dart frog, but it didn’t look right.
