@K-Flagg it looks amazing!!!! I love all the unicorns in the wave, I totally didn't notice them at first! Really beautifully done.
-
Got to draw a picture for my drinking club
On-on!
-
@Tiffany-Thomas Thank you!

I got sidetracked playing with Nomad Sculpt on my iPad. I did this model of a bear cub in a tree which isnโt fabulous but it enables me to turn it around to see it at different angles which I canโt do in my head. I did two quick paintings from them to see how it would work for reference.
-
@demotlj That looks great! What do you think about Nomad Sculpt? Iโve never tried sculpting before, is it quite intuitive?
-
@SheerArt Hehe, she's so likeable
-
@zkkowalska I had never done digital sculpting so the language took a while to get my head around but Nomad is fun because you can at least create some simple sculpts of heads and things without having to understand too much. There are also more and more tutorials being made which helps when you want to start doing more. Basically, for the price, it's amazing what it can do.
-
@demotlj thanks! Iโm gonna try
-
I am starting to figure out my coloring process for the first book I'm illustrating this year. It's got a lot of "real" places depicted, but it's a fictional story, so I'm wrestling with the combination of reality and cartoonish fun

HELLO!!!
Spring is in the air, snow is melting, flowers are blooming, the south east is flooding and the south west is gearing up for another dry summer. What are we going to do about it? What we do best, DRAW!!!Whatโs everyone working on right now?
Imagine you are walking through a studio silently looking over peopleโs shoulders at their work. This is NOT a place for critiques. You may applaud, encourage, ooh and ah only.
-
Working on a lot of covers lately for buiding some portfolio variety.
What do you think??
Is it passable? -
@burvantill that's a good challenge and I would love to participate in. I have had to postpone my svs classes due to being unwell since mid-feb. I know your challenge will produce some great work.
-
@Georgios-Christopoulos These characters look like they were fun to make!
-
@Heather-Boyd Welcome welcome!! I'm excited to see what you come up with.
-
@burvantill I am so sorry, I did mean to say I couldn't do it but would love too. So now I feel bad but I did do a character design early February that is in a comic style that I love. I profusely apologies because I cannot join as I'd like to but I will share this little girl to smooth the misunderstanding over.
The orange colouring is a lot more yellow but I can't seem to edit the colour properly in my Corel Essentials program.
-
@Heather-Boyd No problem! We do what we can with the time given us.

Workin out the bugs in my page. I'm having a bit of trouble with the last panel. I want Colin to be consoled by his mother but I also want his brother to be getting his hide tanned. Thumbnail time! -
Hi Everyone! I've been in a bit of a creative rut lately, haha but I kept forcing myself to make art everyday, even if everything feels like a failure. I've learned over the years this is the best time to let go of expectation and just explore different things. Yesterday, I finally I was able to paint something I'm happy with again. As much as I love digital painting, I think I tend to really overthink things and get stuck in the never-ending cycle of moving and modifying to a point where I start questioning myself. I love watercolor because it's totally unforgiving and I'm forced to solve any issues that come up. So here is my little watercolor monster, hope you like her!
