Hi...I haven't participated in a contest in about a year but it been fun coming on the forum and seeing what everyone's been working on. I really enjoy the podcast as well. I decided to do this months prompt. If anybody has a moment and could offer any critique at all whatsoever I'd really appreciate it! I'm going to start painting hopefully this week. In particular I'm wanting to know if anything needs changed as far as layout/perspective. I am open to all suggestions! Thanks in advance.

This is my yeti's summer home. The hardest part was figuring out how to add a chimney to a beach bungalow! We always had a chiminea by our pool so I went with that lol.
He likes it HOTT

Finished for today...why I am I never happy with what I paint? I feel confident when I sketch but about 20% of the way into painting I hate it lol. It always looks so much better in my head! Anyone else feel that way sometimes? 
@KaraDaniel this is coming out lovely, I know so well that "I hate this stage"! I don't think I have ever done anything that I didn't think I ruined at least a little compared to the sketch. It's more our perception than reality though, I think!

I definitely feel the same way as you when I paint. I am really good about doing all the drawing/prep work, but hate doing the end stuff! Of course I am also just getting into illustration, so I am disappointed when it doesn't look like what's in my head.
