If you know doctor who with David tenant and Billie Piper in the episode called the Army of Ghosts check out the implications of that sphere haha!
If anyone hasn't been to this resource yet, it is friggin' amazing. I particularly like looking at the Laika movies (box trolls, coraline, etc) since they're physical models lit in real life (so staged, but still real light for the most part I think)

Yes, a big trip down memory lane!
Added a ton of new images and also specifically a lot lot of shadow and reflected light on both men and women for reference.

Just wanted to say that I went ahead and ran through the pre-reqs that Will suggests and they were both awesome. Took about 1.5 hours each and was definitely worth it. I took color and value classes in school but it had been awhile, and some of the things they talked about I a fairly sure I never learned. I'm going to get started on this one now!

I just watched them too. It's "light and shadow" and "the magic of color". Will mentions them in the intro to painting colour and light 2.0
As @carlianne found, I knew a lot of the stuff already but it was good to get a refresher and there were a couple of points that were new to me.
Hello there! I have to say goodbye for now ... I thought, I'd manage to take part in the run-through, but I'm already running through the rest of my life without managing (many birthdays in december, and guess what - christmas!); and from tomorrow on a lot of travelling. I'll either try to catch up when I'm back after Christmas, or I just relax a bit and watch what you guys were accomplishing. Have a good time and see you soon!
