Worst Fear work in progress

Here are some thumbs of four ideas I had. I figure a mouse's worst fear is getting eaten by a kitty.
1- Mouse freaking out when it sees a cat's tail sticking out from under its bed.
2- Mouse in easy chair sees cat's face outside through the window.
3- Just see a giant cat's foot in the foreground and the mouse freaking out.
4- Big kitty holding the frightened mouse by the tail getting ready to swallow it.

#1 I don't find believable - the cat would be too large to fit under a mouse's bed. -

@evilrobot Hey Evil - I really like this one - the large head shot - the mouse silhouette in the mouth - very fun!
I had a few suggestions - hope you don't mind.

If you pull that arm back away from his head I think it will read a little better.

I don't think you need the tail of the cat - it is a fun design element but I don't think it communicates as well as it should.

This is just a storytelling option - if the story is that the mouse dies - period. Then you nailed it. If the story is up to you - you might think about giving the mouse a fighting chance. It's good for the viewer to NOT necessarily know what's going to happen - is the mouse going to survive? or is the cat going to get a meal? We don't know if you give the mouse a way out.

@Kevin-Longueil That is a great idea I'll have do one like that. Well here is the revised version. Still a lot I need to learn about using watercolor, but I really like look I'm able to get.
