I actually like the second page style best- line work is nice and consistent, the style is legible and engaging. I like the camera angle as well.

For me too, the second is the one I like most. But I have seen all of these in childrenยดs books, so it is more a matter of your personal level of satisfaction in working in any of these.
Nice poem, BTW! -

... it is more a matter of your personal level of satisfaction in working in any of these.I totally agree with Simona. Each are great but a style that makes you feel happy and satisfied is most important. That being said I do have to say, 3 is my fav followed by 2. Great level of detail and texture. Plus your colors are vibrant and well balanced.

I personally like style 2.
-
I love anything with line work in it so for me I really enjoy #2. And the poem is great. Nice work.
-
It's interesting that most of you guys like page 2 because that's the style I'm most comfortable with/do most of my work in. Cool!
Thanks so much for all the feedback/input so far!

Love this.made me laugh,know kids will love your writing too.I like the 3rd pic,lots of texture,but I'm biased towards a painterly style...

@bluesky71 Thank you!

These are all great, so it's a tough one, but I'd say I like 1 & 3 the best - I'm also a fan of the painterly style

#3 is probably your best bet in terms of making images that publishers will want. It's also a good mix between painting and line work which will make the illustrations go much faster than some of the other styles.
