MARCH CONTEST: Fairy-Tale Traveler
-
Question: All the poses have to be on one page... Does that page have to be 8x11 (printer paper) proportions or can we stretch it one way? Choosing a way to organize these poses is a little trickier to me than I expected.

@Larue This fella is beautiful!!love his birdie pal!!

@Georgios-Christopoulos Thanks Georgios, I had a lot of fun on this one. I come from a mind of whimsical realism and I'm trying to learn to push that but still on the journey.

Hi! The deadline is on the 31st at midnight of which timezone? I'm in UK
-
I made a quick sketch of a traveler I thought I'd share here. Can't let you guys have all the fun! I'm not entering the contest obviously, so no turnarounds on this guy. : )

Here is my entry this month. I was hoping to make two, but not sure if that is going to happen or not. It was a fun prompt! I love seeing all the different ideas!

Hey Guys!
I was debating on whether I should post this drawing this month, and to be honest this was pretty last minute. I had a huge month, but I wanted to enter something as a goal to myself. I hope you guys don't mind either way. This is Dex Van Staten and he is a father dragon born fighter who belongs to a community of his fellow dragon brethren. Sporting a life of family and humility as a harvester, Dex was forced out of his life of peace by a horde of goblins that threatened their very way of life. With his family being his most cherished possession, Dex set out to train with his mentor as an echo knight. Unfortunately they were separated and Dex found himself in the company of a fire Genasi named Flint. Now it is up to them to save Dex's village from the rising horde.

@Larue Thank you Larue! Take care!

@Kim-Rosenlof She's adorable and being the mother of a redhead I can't help but love the hair color, Nice design as well...ooo, just noticed the peg leg, curious of the story behind that!

Hi! Hereβs my fairy-tale traveller, Lentl. In her village she was voted most likely to survive the quest due to her amazing sense of smell (she can sniff out danger more than a mile away) and her ability to run away quite quickly.
Really enjoying all the awesome characters this month and reading all their stories. I love how different they all are
-
@Kim-Rosenlof Thank you so much, I really appreciate it. I also like your character, she has so much story to her!
-
@HeatherBouteneff Love your froglet and his boat hat, he has so much character. I'm particularly enjoying his angry stomping in the final pose

@CLCanadyArts Ah! Your character is so interesting and in the best way! I feel like I can get an idea of his entire culture just from his personal design. So unique... and I love how fluffy his hair looks! ^^
@Heather-Bouteneff Heather! I love your frog!!! And the different expressions- the little prop details with his hat and harmonica I want to read this story! And I wonder... what kind of slimy sandwich is that?
