Wizard of Oz Feedback
-
I just finished the final line art/sketch for my Wizard of Oz entry. I chose to depict the main characters on the yellow brick road, with Dorthy in the front holding the silver slippers, surrounded by the poppy field. In the background is the Emerald City.
Any feedback on the drawing—mainly the composition—would be greatly appreciated!

@natmarie love the concept, but I don't know if you noticed, but Dorothys proportions are off. Her head is too small, her arms too long and her feet to big. I think your idea will look great once you correct her proportions.

@natmarie also I just noticed, the way the tin man is behind Dorothy it seems like she has a third leg. Maybe have the other Charakters walk down the road normally. Right now it seems like they are popping out behind her, but then the tin mans legs don't need to show, since you aren't showing the legs of the scarecrow either. Hope that helps!

@Aisleen Thanks, I'll work on that! Still trying to learn anatomy so it's always helpful for people to point out these things.

@natmarie this looks nice! Two minor things would be the author’s name is Lyman Frank Baum so it would be L Frank Baum other might be Dorothy’s age is 10 in the book if you are trying to stick to the text.

@Kevin-Longueil Oops, I’ll fix the name! Thanks for the feedback!

@natmarie hi! Why did Dorothy take off her shoes?
-
@Nyrryl-Cadiz I think I just wanted to show off the silver slippers. Do you think it will look better if she is just wearing them?

@natmarie correction....cannot find that she is 10 in the book ..just that she is a child ..sorry about that
