@Lee-White Thaks, I was waiting this new course. Right now I have good base on digital painting and I can do nice portrait, but I always have dificult with anatomy or gesture drawing. Is this a begginer course ? (I already did all the course from the first step of SVS). Thanks a lot,

        Felipe

@Lee-White I'm working my way through the fundamentals, right now. This is a very welcome addition to the curriculum. Thanks!

I hope the publisher likes stick figures!!

Thanks so much for putting this course up. I've been waiting for it and it's already helping with my personal project. I'm really enjoying it and Michael is a great, conscientious teacher. He clearly understands the needs of his student. Quite a find, alongside some of the others.
Just a couple of things - something funny happens on the Gesture Demonstration video about the 3.30 mark - the sound drops out and Michael's demonstration disappears for a few seconds. Also, I know this is a minor thing but it does affect the quality of the production, the camera operator seems to be relying a lot on autofocus. When Michael is demonstrating drawing the camera's focus is often on his arm or hand rather than on the drawing, which is quite distracting.
However, thank you for all the hard work you're putting into everything. Joining SVS is towards a career move for me, and I can see that it was the right decision. Hope you're all well.

              Adam.

@Adam-Thornton Thanks for the feedback Adam. I passed on your note about the issue with the Gesture Demo video to our video editor. It will be corrected. Also, I'll make sure to pass your other note about the autofocus to our camera man for the next course. Glad you are already finding the course helpful. We were really lucky to get Michael as an instructor.

@PainterDraws Thanks very much for that. One more piece of feedback - thank you so so much (very much!) for putting plenty of assignments in there. And good quality, well thought out ones too. That is making a huge difference to my progress. As a former teacher I know how important good quality assignments are, because that is the point where the student actually goes away to learn for themselves. I do love all the courses, but there are some where you finish and go "well what shall I do?". For example, Marco Bucci's Digital Painting 1 was impressive, but there was no real instruction so it wasn't clear what I was to do with it come the end. Perhaps it wasn't intended for the beginner, hence the Foundations Curriculum.
Anyway, Michael's course is great! Keep up the great work (please!)
