How well does this concept read? I won't say what the concept is, since I want the piece to read well without any context whatsoever haha

The fox is sitting inside a log. I really like the dappled light effect you've got shining through the holes. The fox looks like it's sleeping, maybe.

At first look, I thought the fox was falling, maybe adding shadows might help?

@Amelia-Bothe I see the fox sleeping in a hole in the ground. She looks relaxed, cuddly and soft.
A question: The paw next to us looks a bit dark or maybe not finished?

A fox sleeping or relaxing in a hollowed-out log, it looks like it's enjoying the warmth of the sunlight coming through the holes. It's gorgeous!
