@Heather-Boyd I had no plans beyond the props. And I got a little lazy and just didn't want to anymore...
-
I did this as a study for a formal traditional painting but I liked the composition of the study better so I turned it into a digital painting. I am very happy with it. I could see this being on cards or as a print.

Doodling. Listening to podcasts and webinars.

@Neha-Rawat OMG these are amazing~!! Love the lighting! And your characters are so dang cute! Way to finish!
-
@phoenix-yip whooaa~ you've done a ton of work! Love all your compositions. Looks like a fun comic!
-
@ajillustrates Lol the waterbowl stroller is genius! Love your colors so much
-
@Miriam Thanks again the for the extra time to look at some reference photos - I was actually working on this piece last night and that prompted me to completely repaint that fallen log and I think it looks far better now.
I've since redone a lot of the surrounding forest to help give it some of the correct depth. What I did to change it was to make sure that each tree was just one step up in value so they were more consistent from front to back. I think that helped alot. And I've also since added mist to the scene with some more details.
-
@jdubz Wow, what a stark improvement from you're previous log! Great work!
-
@chrisaakins I like it! Coloring is great and it looks traditional, has a wc background, pastel feel.
-
@aprilshin thanks! Iām really excited about it!
-
@aprilshin Thank you! This one was a lot of fun!

Anyone know where I can find the demo that was referenced in this post?

I recently completed my recreation of the digital painting Will Terry demoed to us in his 3 Day Event a few weeks ago. It was a great learning experiencr to complete this. I feel I now have a process to follow that I feel comfortable with.

I don't know where to find the demo, but this was such a fun exercise. I used some of his techniques in my November together piece that I submitted this month.
-
@Matthew-Oberdier I was looking for it, too. Havent been able to find it yet. I'm pretty sure it was on facebook.
-
@Lize I think I found it! https://courses.svslearn.com/courses/jump-into-the-studio
