I THINK the penumbra of the cast shadow from the off camera asteroid is okay. I did some reference seeking with a lamp and some upturned bowls, lol.

@Braden-Hallett i love it but the way the footprints are laid out are flattening the sphere but im guessing its just a rough everything else is great

@Braden-Hallett I don't know if you meant to, but the planet kinda looks like a fish? The ice caps on the top look like fins and the alien like the tail. Maybe it's just me

Making the footprints follow the form is definitely on my change list
I think I may have them kinda curling around the icy outcroppings

Oh my gosh it really does! And if the cast shadow were the other way it would totally act as a gill

@Braden-Hallett This looks great! I love the shapes that you've used! Your coloring looks amazing as well, there is a great sense of lighting in this. Great work!
-
@Kali Thanks!

@Braden-Hallett Wow! Braden. Wow. Your work has gotten fantastic! I guess all that lighting and stuff really paid off. I think you are a real pro now and should be getting a lot of work soon. Of course, you could always teach us other learners, too.
P.S. You could sell this now as a poster and I would buy one. Great job.
