Once again I am first. I wanted to combine my inking practice for Inktober with the September prompt. This was a trial run for how I plan on creating art for Inktober: a combination of ink (brush pen and micron) with grey alcohol markers and white gel pens. I know everyone else is going over the top with great ideas but it would still be a shock if you accidentally brought mice for lunch!
The photo is abysmal but I don't have time or the inclination to clean it up in PS. Enjoy!

"Mrs. Young asked us to bring in something Brown. Nate brought in a stick. Amber brought in a Brown crayon. However, crazy Marnie topped us all! Everyone was shocked to see her show up to school with a fully grown Oak Tree!"

Here is my first every monthly prompt entry, I wanted to do a unicorn but then thought it would be cool if she dressed up her pony as a unicorn instead

Here is mine. I did this in traditional watercolor on cold press and inked It (and tweaked it) in Procreate. I could spend another week on it but given that I also did a pen and ink version of this and another version on hot press that I tossed, i’m ready to be done with it

Laurie, this is so great! I love that it's a school of rabbits, and all of the students have their own personality! The style is so reminiscent of E.H. Shepard.
