Hey guys,
My name is April and I’ve been lurking on the forums for about 6 months....thought it was time to say hi!
I’m a 3D / motion graphics artist by day, but I have started getting serious about improving my illustration skills the last couple of years.
I re-listened to the 3PP podcast a few months ago and was struck by episode 2 - am I too old to start?
It really fired me up to choose a focus as I am a bit all over the place right now - and I’ve been going through some of the beginning classes with a focus to get into children’s book illustration.
My art doesn’t really reflect this right now, so I’m taking a big leap and am writing and illustrating a children’s book for my friend’s birthday in November. It will be my trial by fire!
Looking forward to meeting some creative and like-minded people here
