Guess I missed Part 1! Love the color choices and the shepherd coming out of the frame. Nice textures too.I like the hatched sky.

Here is a digital try to see if this project can be done digitally. What do you think? It seems really bright and loses a lot of texture compared to the others. That being said, since I am a complete newbie with digital, I think I might be able to replicate the style of the traditional drawings if I really spent some time and practice on it. Do you think I should stick with traditional for this project?0_1545857346175_angel of the lord1.jpg

Personally, I think the traditional ones have a much stronger style than the digital one. But I’m sure that with enough practice you’ll get as comfortable using digital too. Thanks for sharing your work!

@yeungtina Thanks! I agree. I am definitely more comfortable with traditional at this point. Also I tend to brighter colors in digital and I am not sure how to tone those down.

These are lovely ! I really prefer your traditional pieces the markings and textures are beautiful, but give yourself some time and you will get just as good with digital .there is a video here on SVS by Will Terry about adding texture to Digital work I thought it was really good if someone could remember the name of it for me.

I love the rendering style of the shepherd illustration. The textures are really nice & I like the colors as well.

@chrisaakins It would match better if you did it traditionally but, you did a great beginners job on the digital! I haven't done much with digital yet. I have a tablet and clipstudio pro....I guess I am just an overwhelmed chicken when it comes to working digitally. 🙂
