Why i love digital :)

Need to call this finished for now - thank you all for your feedback!! I thought i would post the full (and often painful) evolution of the piece
i think i would have erased my way through the table if i had done this on paper...
-
Wow, I love the final!! And the texture of the skin on her hands is amazing. Well done.
Is the project finished now? There needs to be a point where you call it finished (not perfect!) and stop re-doing all of your earlier illustrations
Of course you already know this.

"i think i would have erased my way through the table if i had done this on paper..." jajajjajajajjajajajajajajajjaja

I can't imagine working traditionally anymore apart from doodling.
For me it wasn't the erasing. It was all the constant unavoidable smudging.
So, so much smudging...

@sarahluann Thank you SarahLuann!! I had to bend my "one brush for the whole project" rule to get a smother texture on the fingers ... i did use the same brush but i gave it a 10% gaussian blur...that is not cheating right
I have a short list of revisions still to make -
Make the Hammer Head's lederhosen look more like leather and get rid of the random white line on his upper eyelid
Fix the Good Witch of the North's hat....and maybe define some of her features
Finish the Kaliyah's forehead area
...I think that's it!! Thanks again for your support -
This looks really nice. Great job on the fingers!

@evilrobot Thanks William!!

This is straight up sick man
Nice job on the highlights, and the rough, uneven texture of the skin works so well against the flowing hair!
-
Looks great. Love the different stages. You really nailed it by the end.

@dan-tavis @nasvikdraws Wow, thank you both so much for the encouraging feedback
