Finally getting...

...an iPad Pro. Squeeee!! I've wanted one ever since they came out. I placed the order tonight, should have it Friday. I'm pretty excited, and figured you guys would "get it" better than most people.

That's awesome! I love my ipad pro.
I ended up buying an artist's glove since the palm rejection feature leaves much to be desired (or at least it did).
Other than that though, it's the best sketchbook I've ever had.

@art-of-b I've got a knitted glove with some fingers cut off that I have used as a drawing glove with my Wacom tablet. Maybe it will work with the ipad too (plus it's cheap!)

@kat you will love the iPad pro!! I have not had any issues with palm rejection at all with my iPad pro...?? I bought it in January of 2016 so it is not a newer one - i've been using the apple pencil ...i don't think you should need the glove....I'm using procreate... i wonder if it has to do with the program more than the iPad? @Art-of-B are you using procreate too Braden?

I haven't stopped using my ipad pro since i got it! i love it. I don't use a glove or anything but haven't had any issues.
I did buy this screen protector though as it took away 'drawing on glass' feeling and added a little tooth.

Good to know others haven't had problems with palm rejection. And thanks for the tip on the screen protector! I don't know if the feeling of drawing on glass will bother me or not, but good to know about options.
Now, patience, Grasshopper...it will arrive soon.

I too bought a screen protector - a Tech Armor that someone on this forum had recommended - and it really made a difference with the Apple Pencil. I love my iPad Pro and Procreate. Congratulations.

I know the feeling! Just last year, i bought my ipad pro 12.9”. I was so happy. I had to work hard and save money for it which in the Philippines is already a hefty amount. But at the end it was worth it. Right now, my ipad pro is my main device for illustrating. Previously, I used a wacom intous small (a good device but very hard to draw and make line art with). My ipad pro works perfectly and i can take it anywhere I go. I hope you have the same experience!

Oh that's awesome! I want one too. Super happy for you. Please share your first drawing/painting you make on it with us!

If your not an apple lover like myself I would recommend the surface from Microsoft. I have the surface book and love it. I use it for work and for drawing/painting. It runs full windows so I can run the full adobe suite. I can take it anywhere as well. But when I am in my office I have an extra monitor hooked up to it as well. I built a cool wooden stand so when I flip the screen to draw it is on an angle.
I hope to one day upgrade to the Surface Studio or maybe just get the Dell Canvas which is really sweet!!
