Hi everybody
I am kinda late, but I dacided to participate in this months challange as well.
My idea is not somehow unique and I am not playing for that for this challange. I just like cyberpunk, futuristic world so I wanted to do something around that. And I love akira so I want to execute that in the style of that movie. Which is enough challanging for me.
The picture I am posting is just drawing with basic value structure. But I am seeking some feedback on what I already have before I will hop on refining, coloring and such stuff. (the perspective drove me crazy :D)

Ok, so I worked on that a little further... I changed the view a bit and tried to draw the scene to fit more into the world of Akira... also I double checked the perspective and I think it makes more sense now.
This is a drawing of the background I will paint tomorrow and then I will add characters. My aim is to really get as close as possible to the execution of Akira.

@jonas-zavacky I think you lose the focus now. in the top one you have a character at the end of the alley which draws your attention. your hidden guy is cropped and looks like you are hiding him in the composition. Dropping the view done changes the feel.

@michaelmattocks hmm, I see what you mean. We'll see how I will manage that. Maybe I can make the character that is hiding be almost lost in shadow and left the stuff that is important only so the feel may be close. The character in the alley will be there too.

I'm digging this but I'm also torn. I did like how the composition of the original post looked, but I think the most updated scene has alot more feeling to it, more atmosphere. Can't wait to see the finished piece

definitely the last color composition, it looks more mysterious, purple is a good color too make this kind of feelings too.
