I also liked the excersice that they suggested on the postcast.
In my opinion, what I can see on the images, maybe a bit more polish on the rendering of the image. In some parts it looks like it is incomplete or maybe missing some details.
Your illutration somehow reminds me of the work from Gabriel Evans. I leave you the link of his work
