I'm attending an SCBWI conference soon, and I'd like to have a snazzy looking printed portfolio book to enter into the showcase. Can anyone recommend a vendor that does them, preferably hardcover? Thanks!

I use Smartpress, which is a printer that almost specifically works with creatives, and their colors are always spot on. Two caveats are they're best for bulk (10+ books minimum) and don't do hardcover. That might not be what you're looking for, but definitely recommended if you need more than one!

I use Mixbook for vacation photo memory books. They have a nice custom builder and the quality of the hardcover is really nice. They have limited sizes though. You can order just 1 book.

I use Bubu since many years - also for this kind of thing. Whichever you choose, have them send you their samples set (normally they do it for free). Prints can look amazingly different on different papers, and it´s good to have a reference to choose the right one for you.
