Just wanted to say HI to everyone in this wonderful forum!

A little something about me - I'm an engineering design graduate with a passion for drawing and making pop-ups. I['m still experimenting with different mediums trying to find what I like best. I like working with watercolors, inks, gouache and also digitally. I'm quite afraid of showing off art, but I hope to work on that here, and also make some friends 🙂

Welcome! I think everyone is a little nervous to share their art. I just kind of watched this forum for awhile at first before posting anything, to see what people were like. So far, everyone has been encouraging and helpful with critiques. I think the useful thing about this kind of community is we're all here to get feedback, so we know what it is like to get a critique, and so we're better about giving them. At least, that has been my experience.

I was very nervous at first too and now I am not afraid to ask stupid questions because the people are so wonderful and so giving, please don't be afraid to jump right in. If I can do it anyone can!

Welcome! I've posted art here, on twitter, and my blog, and I still get nervous each time. But I know I won't grow as an artist if I don't get feedback! Go for it! 🙂

Thanks Carey, I will try jumping in with both feet 🙂

Thanks Kevin. Pop-up pages are easier for me because designing composition is too scary and difficult at this point. Hopefully I will beat that. 🙂
