Enrolling now: Illustration 1: Turbocharging your creativity!

@Lee-White I have a quick question for the class. I noticed there is still once place left (I started debating if I was going to take it or not when there was 9 left!). I am finishing a Children's book right now and I have another one to start and finish with a tight deadline. I was wondering if the assignment for the class are on specific subjects or if I could use the assignments to work on illustrations/ideas generation for my next book.
Thanks!

@NoWayMe Hi Noémie, I was in the first class and I can tell you that all of the assignments were on specific topics and subjects.

@NoWayMe Rich is right, we focus on a very specific way of going through the illustration process so we needed to control the content for this class. In the illustration 2 class we are possibly going to open it up to different approaches and projects. That level of instruction is really geared for the final class in the series which will be the portfolio class.
That said, I think this class will speed you up in your overall process (hopefully Rich will agree with me). We go through each stage of image building with a focus on getting the best content possible. Using the techniques in the class, I can do up to 2 finished paintings a day now. When doing children's books, this has been a game changer as I can now take on more projects so I get paid more frequently.
The class does require time though, and you need to weigh how much you have. I'd say between 4-8 hours per week would be sufficient. You seems experienced in the art making process, so it might be faster for you.

@Lee-White Hi Lee. I registered in this class last night can you please send me the instructions. Thanks!

@Lee-White and @NoWayMe - yes I completely agree with Lee that the techniques learned in the class are definitely speeding up my overall process and giving me such better ideas and compositions to build off of now.
And also to echo what Lee said - yes there is also a time commitment for this course. Between watching and taking in the class videos, to then setting out to work on and complete them. That amount of time varied from week to week, some being less others being more. But you could see in everyone's homework that the time put in really did pay off week after week.

@Lee-White @Rich-Green - Thanks! Unfortunately, I missed the opportunity for this one (it is sold out!) but certainly I will sign up for the next one hopefully this fall
