Stylizing Human Characters Class
-
Here is a little character I drew after watching @Jake-Parker class on Stylizing Human Characters. He had lots of awesome tips, if you haven't seen it, check it out. I really like his style wheel!
-
Looks great, I will have to watch it now.
-
@Jason-Bowen Thanks! His style wheel is great!
-
What a cute little character! I love the texture. I hope to see more of this her.

I watched the video as wel! its great. Your Character is awesome! Just one small thing, one arm is longer than the other XD. Tip, is to mirror the image before coloring, that makes it easier to correct.

@Charlie-Eve-Ryan does anyone know the name of this illustrator? can find it...
-
@Leontine That is Peter de Seve: probably my most favorite illustrator of all times.
-
@smceccarelli thanks a lot ! I'd tried to listen carefully when Jake mentioned him, but I couldn't make anything useful out of what he said...
-
@Leontine Thanks, good eye and tip!
-
@Charlie-Eve-Ryan lovely! And the class was awesome. Mind blown by the style wheel.
-
@Pamela-Fraley Thank you and yes, me too...love the style wheel approach. Such a clever and useful way to break it down.
-
Love your character, @Charlie-Eve-Ryan! And I also love Jake's new class--I actually signed into the forums (which I almost never do) to suggest everyone watch it, and thank Jake for making it! Thanks, @Jake-Parker!
I'd never heard of the style wheel method, either. Such a helpful way to think creatively.
An SVS subscription has been 100% worth it for me--I am in year two and haven't thought once about cancelling my subscription, even though I don't have a ton of disposable income. Thank you so much SVS!
