Thanks everyone for submitting! Quick Poll: how many of you who submitted work for this month have already bought the "how to fix your art" course and are using it during the prompts?
-
@Lee-White i just bought it yesterday, so didn't use it
-
-
@Jeremy-Ross that is AMAZING!!!!
-
@Lee-White I bought the HTFYA class (love it btw) so my piece was after going through the course. But... having let it sit (aka not looked at it for a bit) I can still see things to fix.

i really appreciated the livestream today, thanks for beeing so supportive.
I guess beeing bad cops once i a while is okay, because we all want to learn and to make steps forward, if you always would be nice, nobody would take a closer look at their work.
Also i would guess it feels better for you guys too, to give critique, for pieces where you can see a real effort and work in the piece. To have the feeling, that we appreciate your work and effort too (by submitting pieces we thought about and worked hard on) when spending your time on critiques.
I thank you a lot for the feedback today, and since its bedtime for me now, i will go to bed with all those lovely and nice feedbacks on my mind.
Thanks to all of you guys too, who wrote all those lovely comments! -
Thank you very much for yesterday's live stream (I didn't have time to participate live), I am really grateful and happy that I received valuable feedback from you Jake and Anthony!
I really appreciate it and it definitely helps me to improve my art! The criticisms of others were also very instructive.

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say a big thank you to @Jake-Parker and @AnthonyWheeler for reviewing our illustrations. The insights and feedback provided were incredibly valuable.
I especially appreciated the delicate and polite manner in which the critiques were delivered. It's not always easy to receive feedback, but the respectful and constructive approach made it a truly enriching experience. This kind of support and guidance is what makes this community so special.
Thank you once again for dedicating your time and expertise. Your efforts are deeply appreciated and will surely inspire and improve our future works. -
@Jeremy-Ross Very cool piece! Have you read "Picture This" by Molly Bang?
If not, check out this video about the book. It's about shape language in The Little Red Riding Hood, and you pretty much did it perfectly:
