Changes to How To Fix Your Art!
-
We are bringing back monthly prompts! Starting with the November livestream, you'll need to upload an illustration based on a special prompt for that month. The specific details for each month's prompt will be located at SVSLearn.com/fixyourart and in your student dashboard. We have the prompts up for the next three months' livestreams, so you can have some extra time to work on them.Submissions of your work will continue to be posted in a special post on the forum for that month. We will also host a post where you can upload your WIP for feedback before uploading your finished submission.
This opportunity is available to everyone. In addition to selecting images to critique, the instructors might also highlight ones they think look great, which would be showcased on our website and social media channels.
We hope these prompts inspire you to create new work and improve your skills. We are super excited to see all the great art you will create!

@AustinShurtliff This is great! Just clarifying 'for everyone' including those who aren't subscribed?
Because you also say "in your student dashboard" Thanks again -
@Heather-Boyd, yes, anyone can submit their work. The student dashboard is just one of the two locations where you can get the details for the prompt. If you go to svslearn.com/fixyourart you can get the same details without being a member.

@AustinShurtliff, if you have any questions about this change, post them here and tag me!

@AustinShurtliff Wonderful! I'm happy the monthly prompts are back! It's motivating to have a little competition and to see what other's do with prompt ideas. My art was chosen for How to Fix Your Art last night and it was a thrill and honor to get such professional feedback. I learned a lot.

@Sara-Therese-Art thats awsome! I learned a lot as well. I remember having my work featured in a 3rd Thursday forever ago. Its always cool to get such direct feedback from a pro.
