My little Cloud wips :)

@Johanna-Kim @KevinTreaccar thank you!

Hey guys been a while, got somethings going on in my life that have been affecting my creativity lately, but hoping to get back into the swing of things. I’ve been really struggling with finding another good concept. Thank goodness I popped that one out early! Anyway here’s a new idea I e very roughly sketched out. Is story clear? Composition could probably still use some tweaking. Thanks friends️
-
@Asyas_illos I feel like they’re looking for their dog in the fog at night? I’m sorry you’re going through a rough patch, feel free to reach out if you want to vent ️
-
@AngelinaKizz thanks️ And yes that’s idea, I’ll need to add more though to make it more interesting I think.
-
@Asyas_illos Looks like this is a family who has lost their dog in the clouds/fog at night.
-
Fog is still clouds right?
-
@Asyas_illos Yes:) I had to look this same question up a few days ago. It's just a difference of altitude. Looking mysterious...
-
@Asyas_illos fog is absolutely clouds
-
Made lots of progress since yesterday. I’m wondering if the the red line adds anything to the story or if it’s unnecessary. Also wondering if I should reduce opacity of the fog a little? Thoughts?
-
This post is deleted! -
@Stephanie-H yes it’s to keep them from getting seperated but the dog broke free. And yes fog is usually see through but I wanted to appear very thick that’s why they are having trouble finding the dog. But I’ll play around with it a little
-
Does this opacity work?
-
@Asyas_illos This is looking good Did you mean to put the red line in front of the fog next to the dog? Maybe see it through the fog a little bit because the dog is disappearing there to?
-
@Frogpunzel I’ve fixed it since but thanks!
-
@Asyas_illos I really like the idea and your style is so great! The characters are really good. I feel like the man with the child on his shoulders is on the same plane as the dog so they should be able to see it. The dog doesn't seem to be hidden. I did a quick draw-over to show one way to fix that (excuse all the weird stuff ). I felt like all the characters were the same size so I brought two of them forward so they are not in the same fog "aisle" as the dog and they add a variety of sizes to your illustration.
-
@Kim-Rosenlof thanks for the feedback I will play around with those ideas️
-
I don’t have the energy to do anymore to this, I did add another bloop of fog in between the dad figure and the dog hopefully that seems a bit more realistic
-
@Asyas_illos I'm always amazed by how much you do accomplish each month!!! Hope everything is ok. This image was a fun idea, and turned out well!
-
One last idea here. Is the story clear there’s not much really to it lol.
