JANUARY CONTEST: Tiger

@maryannlucas Thanks very much! Really appreciate it
-
This was a tough prompt for me but I went with an illustration to accompany a hypothetical article about embracing your “Tiger stripes” aka stretch marks
-
Just submitted!

Here's my take on Tiger.

Hello everyone! I haven't posted in a monthly contest since October 2020. So I am excited to be back and do a few this year! I do hope the format is correct, thanks.
*So I bought a EPSON scanner -very nice and normally gets my colours right. But here my green background is more yellow (I painstakingly made my colours just right) and it looks more out of focus when I shrink to fit the format scale -any help would be appreciated?
-
Looks like I was supposed to put my final here. Great stuff being submitted!
-
@mrgarypotts Love your color palette and style of line work, fun piece!
-
@asyas_illos Love your style, super cute!
-
@cayleen Love the changes you made to your initial sketch. Glad to see you stuck with your initial idea and made it work. Nice!
-
@larue aww thank you!
-
Loving everyone's takes on this month's prompt! Here's mine -- an homage to the classic picture book The Tiger Who Came to Tea ...
-
Aaand ... snuck in another one this month, too! (Took a few days off to draw and relax.) It was a bunch of fun playing with color and different brushes in Procreate, and thought I'd share it as well.
-
Both submissions are so good @melissa_bailey!
-
@jeremy-ross aww, thanks so much! I love the girl's expression in your piece. You nailed the humor!
